For students who choose to continue their education at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in Rijeka, they can enrol on the M.A. in <em>Psychology<\/em> (Single Honours).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Employment possibilities<\/td><td>The competences that students acquire after completing their undergraduate studies are: \u00a0 \u2022 basic knowledge of psychological research methods, research design, statistical data analysis and measurement techniques, \u2022 knowledge about general psychology, the biological foundations of psychological processes, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, personality psychology and social psychology, \u2022 general information about applied areas of psychology. \u00a0 In addition to acquiring this basic knowledge, the following specific and general\/generic skills are also acquired: \u00a0 \u2022 skills related to the humanities (e.g. critical thinking, essay writing) and the natural sciences (hypothesis testing, statistical procedures); \u2022 specific skills &#8211; drafting a research outline, methods and measurements, statistics &#8211; which are also applicable to professions outside of psychology, \u2022 general skills &#8211; communication skills, numerical skills, critical thinking skills, use of information technology &#8211;
