Students will then receive an invitation to apply online and asked to upload the required documentation. Once the application documentation has been received and reviewed, FHSS will give the mobility approval and send some further information.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All documentation should be submitted in acceptable electronic formats such as *.pdf, *.doc etc. and should be clearly legible. Handwritten documents or documents in image formats will not be accepted!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion\" style=\"border-color: #f1f1f1;\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-block-1199f4f7-6297-4491-ba85-1ca6e8a57005\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-title-wrap\" style=\"background-color: #f1f1f1;\" aria-controls=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-3-022e70f1-f753-4115-be48-c35ac37de7a1\" tabindex=\"0\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-title ub-content-toggle-title-022e70f1-f753-4115-be48-c35ac37de7a1\" style=\"color: #000000; \">Student mobility for studying at FHSS Rijeka<\/p>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-toggle-wrap right\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-state-indicator wp-block-ub-chevron-down\"><\/span><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div role=\"region\" aria-expanded=\"false\" class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-content-wrap ub-hide\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-3-022e70f1-f753-4115-be48-c35ac37de7a1\">\n\n<p>Students can choose their courses from the Course catalogue, which offers a list of the available courses from each department\/division at the FHSS. Courses are offered in English or in other foreign languages. Students who have language competencies in Croatian or other languages (a minimum CEFR level of B2) can request to participate in courses of the regular study programmes in Croatian.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each department has its own conditions regarding the choice of courses. Courses marked with a\u202f<strong>C (CLOSED) <\/strong>are mainly intended for students of a specific field of study and with previous knowledge (e.g., psychology students; art history students; German language students etc.). If the course is marked as\u202f<strong>O (OPEN)<\/strong>\u202fit has no prerequisites and is open to all students, irrespective of their field of study.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Erasmus+ students can choose courses from one or more different departments, and from both\u202fthe <strong>undergraduate<\/strong>\u202fand\u202f<strong>graduate<\/strong>\u202fprogrammes (regardless of their level of study)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For international students, courses are generally offered either in the form of individual tutorials\/consultations or lectures with the other students. Individual lectures\/consultations are held in English (or another agreed foreign language) where students work one-to-one with the course lecturers. If enough international students have enrolled for a particular course, then an ordinary course in English with lectures for all the students will be activated.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The minimum level of language proficiency for all courses at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is B2 CEFR, <\/strong>unless specified differently.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that some of the Departments (for instance the Department of English language and Literature, the Department of German language and Literature, the Department of Italian language and literature etc.) may have\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before students arrive at the faculty, their course selection will be reviewed and if needs be, changes to the Learning Agreement will be made (i.e. if the selected course(s) is\/are not available, a different semester has been chosen etc.). In case of the address change or leaving the country during the 90-day period, and then returning to Croatia they must repeat the procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Documents needed to register temporary place of residence whilst in Croatia:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>passport (original + copy),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>form issued by the Primorje-Gorski kotar County Police Administration,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a valid Croatian Identity Card of the person who legally owns the apartment (if a foreign citizen has already rented an apartment),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>four copies of the Rental contract and four copies of the Ownership documents of the rented apartment (notarised by a public notary).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Short-term stay \u2013 stay of up to 90 days, with or without visa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Foreign citizens who need a visa to enter the Republic of Croatia can stay in the Republic of Croatia for a maximum of 90 days within a period of 6 months. Usually, the final assessment is based on a student\u2019s performance throughout the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The marking system in Croatia gives students a final mark that ranges between 1 and 5. The lowest mark is 1 and 5 is the highest mark. Before making any changes to the Learning Agreement, students must first consult with the appropriate Course Organiser(s) or the Departmental Erasmus+ Coordinator (in the Department that holds that course) about availability. Once this has been approved, students can make changes to the Learning Agreement. Changes to the Learning Agreement must also be approved both by responsible persons at the student\u2019s home University\/Faculty, as well as at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Changes to the Learning Agreement can only be made within the first 30 days after a student\u2019s arrival!
