ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD AND PERIODS OF ART HISTORY | 1. Define and classify the key styles of a particular work of art or phenomena. 2. Consistently classify theoretical topics, problems, and approaches in artistic practices throughout the history of art. 3. Interpret and critically judge the concepts of form, meaning and structural level of works of art and phenomena. 4. Evaluate and explain the similarities and differences between specific art historical and theoretical ideas in historically and territorially distinguishable phenomena and periods. 5. Apply advanced knowledge and skills from the field of art history and theory. 6. Highlight and demonstrate specific knowledge and skills from narrower areas of the profession. 7. Integrate advanced knowledge into more complex, individual examples of a superior grouping of artistic phenomena. 8. Use and critically judge the concepts of museology, museum-gallery practice, and cultural heritage protection. |
ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE IN ART HISTORY METHODOLOGY | 1. Define and distinguish between art historical methods of analysis and the interpretation of works of art and phenomena at an advanced level. 2. Describe and review the elements that make up works of art and phenomena and integrate them into a wider cultural and social context, using the appropriate standard and innovative methodological tools of art history and theory. 3. Recognise, classify, select, and use different approaches when undertaking scientific research. 4. Carry out comparative analysis and argumentation based on observation and reflection on works of art. 5. Distinguish between and use methods of evaluation and mediation about works of art |
