Explain the connections between English language teaching and applied linguistics. 3. Prepare a course plan according to the age and English level of the target group. 4. Explain the links between teaching English and English as an international language. 5. Describe and explain the challenges of evaluating the teaching process. 6. Explain and apply the acquired knowledge and skills when teaching receptive and productive language skills, grammar, vocabulary, culture, and intercultural communication competences. 7. Differentiate between, and explain, the linguistic and cultural implications. 2. Outline the basic social structures (political, educational, economic, ecological, and other relevant and current topics) in different English-speaking countries. 3. Recognise and deconstruct stereotypes about Britain, Ireland, and the USA, as well as other English-speaking countries. 4. Recognise and explain linguistic and cultural differences between different English-speaking countries. 5. Describe the basic characteristics of the popular and mass media in English-speaking regions. 6. Differentiate and apply old and new media in teaching English. 7.
