Possibilities of continuing education | After finishing the M.A. in psychology, students can enrol on an appropriate doctoral programme. |
Employment possibilities | Upon completing their studies, students will have acquired the competences necessary to perform various aspects of psychological activity or further education on postgraduate study programmes. According to the Act on Psychological Activities (Official Gazette No. 47/03), a one-year work placement is required to be able to perform independent psychological activities, after which a professional exam is taken. After passing the professional exam, the Croatian Chamber of Psychology issues a permit for the independent practice of psychology. A one-year internship after graduation is also a criterion for obtaining the European Diploma in Psychology. This internship is not envisaged as part of the academic programme. |

SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION OF COMPLEX PROBLEMS IN PSYCHOLOGY AND RELATED FIELDS | 1. Apply scientific reasoning and connect theoretical knowledge and evidence. 2. Plan the research design, using the appropriate methods, measurement techniques and statistical procedures. 3. Conduct research based on various data collection methods (experiments, observations, psychometric testing, questionnaires, interviews, field tests). 4. Analyse data using appropriate statistical procedures. 5. Present the results of the research and evaluate and critically consider them, stating the theoretical, practical, methodological, and ethical foundations and limitations 6.
