| HISTORY AND THEORY OF LITERATURE IN GERMAN-SPEAKING REGIONS | 1. Define the main concepts in the field of German-speaking literary studies. 2. Describe the development of German literature from the 18th to the 21st centuries. 3. Locate literary texts within the appropriate socio-historical and political contexts. 4. List the poetological determinants of literary genres. 5. Define the poetic characteristics of different time periods and authors. 6. Interpret literary works from different time periods by using close reading techniques. |
| BASIC LINGUISTICS FOR GERMANISTS | 1. Explain the principle linguistic concepts, approaches, and disciplines. 2. Describe the morphological system of the German language. 3.
