It is with great pleasure that we announce the Second Literary Translation Workshop in 2023, which will focus on the challenges of translating contemporary American literature into Croatian.
The workshop will be led by Patricija Horvat, translator and interpreter from English and German, whose translations include award-winning novels by John Williams, Elizabeth Strout, Richard Flanagan and Sally Rooney.
The workshop will take place as part of the 1st year MA course ‘Language and Culture’ in the English Studies Module of the MA in Translation Studies on 5 April 2023.
