The Centre for Advanced Studies of South East Europe, in cooperation with the University of Rijeka, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Rijeka and the Department of Philosophy in Rijeka, is thrilled to announce the tenth edition of our summer school on equality and citizenship.

Dates: 3 June to 7 June 2024
Location: University of Rijeka, Croatia

Who should apply:
Post-docs and PhD students are encouraged to apply. If you have participated in previous editions of the Summer School, we invite you to propose papers for the symposia.

Key features:
• The Summer School does not reproduce in a diluted form the familiar teaching format of a university course.
• Author-meets-critic symposia: Instead, the Summer School will be organised in the form of “author-meets-critic” symposia dedicated to some distinguished authors’ publications and work- in-progress.
• Scientific Workshops: Engaged and focused discussions and collaborative sessions on topics related to equality and citizenship.

Benefits for participants:
• Certificate of Participation: post-doc and PhD participants will receive a certificate detailing their activities during the summer school.
• Networking: Interact with leading experts and peers in the field of political philosophy.
• Contribution: Post-doc and PhD participants can contribute to discussions, ask questions and enrich the academic dialogue.
